Romancing Medusa Romancing
Medusa
was a video series
produced for the web created by Bourland and Crosby. We were both younger
then,
we had put aside our experiences in the The
Texas Philistines and
decided to make movies. Now granted, Bourland and Crosby were still in
a rebellious period of their lives; single, depraved, white boys with a
twisted sense of humor. So if you choose to view these videos be aware
that they contain profanity of every kind, particularly the F word and
the first episode is dark comedy at best. For
some reason Bourland and the rest of these depraved souls found it
necessary to use the F word every two or three lines, sometimes more.
Sheesh, what were we thinking? Oh yeah, we weren't. We were just doing.
Let the chips fall where they may, you might say. Anyhoo, here's the
story line. Romancing Medusa is about a guy named Max
Sledge, played by yours truly, who's ex-girlfriends are in a conspiracy
against him. Kinda like
Seinfeld meets the X-Files. So here they are for the first time on the
web in six years, Romancing Medusa! A quick note, episode II (Showering
with Stella) is still in the original 3 frames per second form. We
captured it all at 3 fps originally because the web was so slow, you
were lucky to get that through a 28.8kbaud modem.
